Eri Moriyama hails from the land of the rising sun where she grew up the daughter of a prominent brain surgeon. She knew at an early age that learning English in America was her dream and decided not to continue the long tradition of medical work in her family. After receiving her BA degree in Journalism at Sophia University in Tokyo, Eri Moriyama blazed her own path and moved to America to pursue her dream of being a reporter where she could utilize her substantial English skills attained over many years of diligent study. It didn't take long before Eri Moriyama fulfilled her dream by landing a job as a television reporter, interviewing various personalities and traveling to extraordinary places including The White House, NASA, and Graceland. Eri Moriyama's innocent "girl next door" yet exotic look soon caught the eye of the folks over at Pepsi where she became their spokesmodel for 5 years and even received her own Eri Moriyama concept vehicle, a hot pink Mitsubishi Eclipse that toured the nation with her for the DUB Auto Show, Hot Import Nights, and SEMA. Her steadfast loyalty also solidified a spokesmodel position at Falken Tires for the last 4 years. All her hard work paid off when Eri Moriyama was nominated for "Spokesmodel of the Year" at the Global Tuning Awards which aired on the Fox Network in 2006. Going to Graceland must have had a profound affect on Eri because all she does now is fantasize about going back to the 60's and using her piano talents to sing a duet with Elvis...during his "hot" phase of course. |
