FALKEN TIRE BECOMES NORTH AMERICAN DISTRIBUTOR FOR OHTSU BRANDED MEDIUM TRUCK TIRES

Falken Tire Corporation is pleased to announce that effective March 1, 2010 it will once again become the North American distributor for Ohtsu branded medium truck tires.

Falken Tire Corporation will launch its new Medium Truck program by offering 14 different lines of Ohtsu medium truck products in March, and will then introduce 3 new low rolling resistance Medium Truck lines during the 2^nd half of 2010.

In order to provide the highest level of service and flexibility to its customers, Falken will stock all MTR products in each of its four US Distribution Centers.  Falken’s newest distribution center opened earlier this year in Irving, Texas, joining Fontana, CA, Mount Juliet, TN, and Dayton, NJ to support Falken’s rapidly expanding network of customers in North America.  Falken is also anticipating the opening of a new distribution center during Q4 of 2010, or Q1 2011.

The Ohtsu brand has garnered a quality focused reputation in the medium truck tire category, and will be a great addition to Falken’s product line up.  The addition of the Ohtsu medium truck tires, along with numerous other soon-to-launch new product lines, should serve to demonstrate Falken’s continued commitment to enhancing its product offerings and service levels to its North American customer base.
