This past Sunday marked the 3rd annual SpoCom car show in Long Beach, California. SpoCom, unlike many other events, gears their event to cater towards buyers in the aftermarket industry while still allowing access to the public. In this approach, SpoCom is able to attract large scale booths that would previously only be seen at shows such as SEMA.
Falken Tire was in attendance with their highly visible 18 wheel blue and teal motorsport rig, which was placed next to the main stage. Featured in the Falken Tire booth was a Lamborghini Yellow Mazda RX-7, a track inspired white Honda Civic Si, a white supercharged widebody E46 M3 and last but not least a gunmetal current model E92 M3. Falken spokesmodel Mary Castillo was on hand signing posters and greeting the crowd.
With over 8,500 people at the event, SpoCom continues to grow and attract vendors and consumers alike each year. If you weren’t able to make SpoCom this year, be sure to attend in 2010!
