This past weekend certainly a busy one for the Falken Tire Events team as they were split between the Big SoCalEuro Gathering and the Funkmaster Flex Custom Car & Bike Show. Taking place in sunny San Diego, California, the Big SoCalEuro Gathering drew over 1,600 cars and countless enthusiasts. While the majority of vehicles were limited to European makes, cars within the meet ranged from a Ferrari F430 Scuderia to a Mini Cooper S.
On the opposite coast located in Edison, New Jersey, the Funkmaster Flex show drew more than 8,000 people. This packed event featured numerous Hip Hop Superstars in conjunction with wildly modified cars, trucks and motorcycles. Indoors, musical artists took turns on stage while drift demos and stunt bike shows took place outside.
Both events featured Falken Tire Motorsports rigs in attendance along with booth vehicles on display. A 780 horsepower twin turbo Infinity G35 and ultra-wide-body twin turbo Nissan 350z were on display at the Funkmaster Flex show. On display in San Diego was a matte-black twin turbo BMW 335, a new body BMW M3, a 650 horsepower Mercedes-Benz CLS 55, and a supercharged e46 BMW. The Big SoCalEuro Gathering and the Funkmaster Flex Custom Car & Bike Show proved to be both great events for Falken Tire. The year is nearly half over, but there are many great events yet to come!
