FALKEN TIRES’ Brenthel Brothers Continue to Earn Off-Road Points at Multiple Events
With numerous off-road races and series taking place throughout the year, Team Falken relies on key racing alliances to represent the tire brand at these events. Team Brenthel, guided by racing brothers Jordan and Jonathan, is one of Team Falken’s veteran off-road partners, and both siblings raced this past weekend in separate events, with Jordan earning a 4th at the Silver State 300 in Alamo, NV, and a 2nd for Jonathan in Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Arizona Regionals in Chandler, AZ.
Both teams raced on Falken WILDPEAK M/T tires in their respective classes; Jordan in the 6100 Class, competing against 18 other trucks in this Best in the Desert series, finishing in 5:56, for 4th, while Jonathan ran in the Pro-Lite Class at Wild Horse Pass as part of the Lucas Oil Regional series in Arizona, taking second.
“Team Brenthel is always on the road, running their trucks and racing our Falken WILDPEAKS,” stated Brandon Barberena, Falken Tires’ Supervisor, Light Truck and Off-Road Events. “We’re proud of their accomplishments and glad to have the brothers and all of Team Brenthel representing Falken Tires at these important races throughout the country.
“Every race they run gives us more data on our tires’ performance and continue to prove that the Falken WILDPEAKs are high-quality off-road-capable,” Barberena added, “as well as street-worthy for regular trucks.”
“My brother and I enjoy competition any way we can get it, and as we’re in this business, it’s important that we do well every time we race,” said Jonathan. “That’s why we run Falken WILDPEAKs. The tires never quit and are always strong, up through the finish line. And since it’s all about the points at the end, we’re glad we have them on our trucks.”
The Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series is an extension of the national short course races in Arizona and Southern California. Round 4 of the Arizona Regional Series will be September 8 at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, while the next Best in the Desert race is Vegas to Reno, “the longest off-road race in the U.S.,” scheduled for August 15-18.
